Aug. 7 – Emmanuel and Jacquea got married after six months. At only 19 years old, it may have been six months too soon for Emmanuel, who felt forced into marriage because Jacquea had gotten pregnant. Emmanuel resents that he wasn’t able to experience college life and realize his dreams of becoming a rapper, blaming Jacquea and his son for his unfulfilled desires. Jacquea hates how immature, lazy, and absent Emmanuel has been as a father, often not returning home for days a time. Unfortunately, that’s what happens when you give birth to a child and get married to one too.
