I wish OP #1 would have shared a little more about their world, it sounded like a cool homebrew. Such a shame SOME people can’t appreciate a DM’s dedication because of prejudice. I actually really wish you luck getting over you bigotry, That Guy, for your life will be better without it.
Also, I MAY have gotten a little too intense on the Pathfinder story. When it hits home, it hits home, you know? The cringe OP may feel when looking back their 13 year-old self would have been punishment enough, no smacking required. I am not saying OP SHOULD cringe at themselves, just saying most of us do when thinking back at our younger selves. If you don’t, then you are a unicorn amongst unicorns, but I’m happy those memories don’t torment you at night:)
