If there are no children, it’s about dividing up money and paying support.
If there are children, it’s about dividing up access and custody.
There absolutely is no difference.
For example, if one spouse is a higher wage earner than the other, the higher wage earner is going to pay whether it’s a gay divorce or not a gay divorce. If one person is a stay-at-home mom or a stay-at-home dad, that person has a better advantage. It doesn’t matter if they’re gay or not gay. It’s the same issues.
Your gender does not matter.
