“My husband must have thought that he had won the battle we were having. He still treated me harshly; nothing had changed about my circumstances, but what was amazing was my heart. The peace of God had completely consumed me, and I wasn’t afraid of or anxious about my husband at all!
“My relationship with my husband had been so tightly bound by affection and greed that it seemed impossible to fix. But when these bindings were removed from my heart, I became more free than I had ever been, and I could rely on God for all of my husband’s circumstances.” (from the testimony)
