52-year-old Romeo Silerio got lucky 22 years ago when he won $6.9 million in the Virginia state lottery.
But in a story by The Virginian Pilot, the former warehouse worker’s luck reportedly ran out following a divorce from his wife that split up the winnings and set spousal and child support for their three kids.
In August, Silerio entered two pleas of no contest for failing to pay his ex-wife more than $250,000 in child and spousal support.
