Lori met Jim through one of Lori’s friends. They began dating after Jim got the courage to ask Lori out to dinner. They eventually moved in together. For last 9 months, Lori has been living in California and Jim was supposed to get a job transfer to be with her. However, Lori says Jim has had a serious gambling problem for the last 10 years and it’s put a strain on their marriage. Mr. Fischer admits to his gambling addiction but claims it’s only been a problem in the last 5 years.
