Just before I moved to LA from Chicago 6 years ago I began work on a low budget feature film called STEPS. It’s amazing how spun around you get out here. I was told it was too sad, too Xmas driven, that I was too green, that we’d never succeed because we did not have any “known” stars and on and on. I lost confidence and shelved the project when a producer I had lined up to fund us died suddenly of a heart attack at 56. Someday I will finish this one. Too bad it will need to be reshot with an all new cast. Hindsight being 20/20 I wish I would have ignored the so called Hollywood experts and just made the movie with my pals. Enjoy
