10-Year Green Card After Divorce?
Can I get the conditions on my green card removed even after divorce? Generally, when a US Citizen or LPR marries someone from overseas they can sponsor them for a green card. One of the ways USCIS combats fraud is by putting a time cap on the marriage-based green card, usually two years. At the end of those two years, you’ll have to file for removal of conditions.
