People often write to us expecting us to give them a magic set of words or actions that could easily undo a break up or a divorce.
We got a message from a guy who was going through a divorce with his wife and he wanted to save their marriage. He was basically at a point where he was meeting his wife the next day to sign the divorce papers. He wanted to know how he could stop the divorce and change his wife’s mind.
Unfortunately it was a little too late to change her mind and stop the divorce from going through. We wanted to clarify that he could still save his relationship but it won’t be a quick fix.
As we keep telling our clients, it takes time and effort to save a relationship. You have to start with active no contact rule. Start laying the foundation for a successful relationship by working on your mindset. The divorce will go through but that is not an end to a relationship. You can still apply the same techniques and work on building a new relationship with your ex.
There are no MAGIC words and actions that can undo years of hurt and misunderstandings that led to a breakup. That’s why tips and tricks don’t work. It takes genuine demonstrations to show your ex you have changed and that you want a better relationship with them. It takes your ex time to forgive and build trust in you to give your new relationship a try.
In order to do that, you need the core transformations to go all the way down to the root of who you are. Your ex will need to see that you’re not the same person that they left.
